I’m pretty cheap when it comes to food and it’s not because I want to be, it’s because I’m a broke student like you guys. Last year my friends and I went to San Diego on a girl’s only trip. We decided to bring along our own food to the hotel rather than waste a bunch of money on fast food because we’re students on a budget. As we were preparing to make our first gourmet meal “P and J Sandwiches”, we realized we forgot to purchase utensils.

Spending money on utensils was NOT AN OPTION! My friends and I searched around our hotel room for a knife substitute. All of a sudden the greatest idea ever popped into my imaginary brain. I came up with the wonderful idea to use an unused tampon applicator. I just slipped the applicator off, flattened it out and started digging in both jars. The applicator spread the peanut butter and jelly nice and evenly. I could not believe how great it worked! They were the best P and J Sandwiches my friends and I have ever had.

    Pretty creative … I think. Once you start thinking with a “frugal” mindset, you’ll be amazed at how many household items can be used for 100 different things.

    Hey, eating cheap is a necessity when your cash isn’t flowing. I’ve mastered the art over the years of eating good on a low budget.

    Even though I can a ford to eat well now, I still have that week at the end of the mont every now and then when waiting on a paycheck.

    Wow, I will never look at a tampon the same ever again. They don’t seem so clean anymore for some reason. Very creative once again. I just can’t come up with these things.

    I love girls on a budget, especially in Sand Dago (not a typo). Female day laborers are EXTREMELY cheap when it cums (not a typo) to, well…labor. Literally. They have lots of babies. So after I impregnate like 13 of these day laborers, I just sit back and watch my seed propagate the country until, eventually…my son kills me in a knife fight over a leg of genetically enhanced horse-meat.
